Earlier this week her reps denied the story, and Jackson came out personally to deny the claims, too, with a little TMI. "There's absolutely no action going on in my uterus," she told reporters. "I'm no expert, but I hear you have to actually have sex," and that, she said, "hasn't been happening." Okaaaaaay.

Plus, Jackson has no desire to have another baby, with K-Fed or anyone else: she just had a tummy tuck. "I'm not trying to ruin my body," she said.

TMZ.com reported that Hilton's family will file an appeal, maybe as soon as Friday afternoon.

Hilton was taken to a treatment center at the downtown Twin Towers jail for medical and psychiatric examination to determine which facility she will be held in, said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

“She’ll be there for at least a couple of days,” he said.

Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer was calm but apparently irked by Sheriff Lee Baca’s decision to release Hilton three days into her sentence due to an unspecified “medical condition.”

“I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions,” Sauer said. “At no time did I approve the defendant being released from custody to her home.”

LYNWOOD, Calif. (AP) -- Paris Hilton has reported to a Los Angeles County jail to begin a three-week stay for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

The 26-year-old heiress was booked late Sunday into the Century Regional Detention Facility in an industrial area about five miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles, according to the sheriff's inmate locator Web site.

Though a judge sentenced her to 45 days behind bars, Hilton was expected to serve only 23 days because of a state law that requires shorter sentences for good behavior.

Earlier Sunday, Hilton attended the MTV Movie Awards, where she briefly spoke to reporters about her sentence.

"I am trying to be strong right now," Hilton said. "I'm really scared but I'm ready to face my sentence."

The 13-year-old jail has been an all-female facility since March 2006. The two-story concrete building sits in an industrial neighborhood, beside train tracks and beneath a bustling freeway.
Hilton will be housed in the facility's "special needs" unit.

Officers arrested Hilton in Hollywood on Sept. 7. In January, she pleaded no contest to the reckless-driving charge and was sentenced to 36 months' probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.

She was pulled over by California Highway Patrol on Jan. 15. Officers informed Hilton she was driving on a suspended license and she signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. She then was pulled over by sheriff's deputies on Feb. 27, at which time she was charged with violating her probation.

Birkhead made a deal with NBC Universal for $1,050,000 to appear on various shows. The initial check to Birkhead was for $865,000. Birkhead says without his consent, Opri deposited the money in her client trust account. Indeed, Birkhead claims he "specifically advised Opri that she was not authorized to take control or possession of any of the funds..." Opri then turned over $200,000, leaving $665,000 in the trust account.

Birkhead, who claims conversion, fraud and legal malpractice, says he repeatedly demanded that Opri release the money but she refused. Birkhead then fired her.

Birkhead's suit then details another TMZ story, that after Opri was fired, she sent him a bill for $620,492.84 for legal services, which included charges for expensive dinners, Opri's publicist, and even her husband's laundry. Birkhead claims many of the charges were for Opri's "personal aggrandizement."

Birkhead further alleges in the suit that "Opri placed her own career desires and needs as a priority over the needs, interests and desires of her own client."

Birkhead also claims Opri represented herself as a specialist in California family law, but says the representation was false and she knew it.

Birkhead is seeking at least $885,000 in damages. He is also asking for punitive damages and rescission of any fee agreements Birkhead claims he signed under fraudulent pretenses.

The friend added: "The clinic even took her mobile from her to make sure she can't call people who are a bad influence on her.

"But she went berserk so they gave her a new phone with only the numbers of her family, publicist and agent on it.

"Now her friends just want her to stay in rehab for as long as possible. Only then will she be safe."

Lindsay Lohan won't be attending Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, her publicist confirmed Friday.

The actress, who checked into rehab earlier this week, was one of several celebrity presenters scheduled for the show, which is being broadcast live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City. Her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, said in a brief e-mail that she wouldn't be there.

This might come in handy in jail!

The other Tuesday church group is "The Foundry," for ages 22-35, which according to their site, helps to "Grow them up in the likeness of Christ through small groups, and go out to serve with their gifts and passions." Retail therapy to save the world! Hoorah! Shop for Jesus!

Lindsay Lohan Booked on Suspicion of DUI

May 27, 3:12 AM EST

Lindsay Lohan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday after her convertible struck a curb, and investigators found what they believe is cocaine at the scene, police said.

Lohan, 20, and two other people were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed on Sunset Boulevard around 5:30 a.m., Sgt. Mike Foxen said. It appeared the actress was speeding, Lt. Mitch McCann said at an afternoon news conference.

Officers at the scene found a "usable amount" of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine, McCann said. He declined to say where the drug was found other than to say Lohan was not carrying it.

Lohan, who spent time at a rehabilitation center earlier this year, was driven in another car to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, McCann said. The two other people in her car were not hurt.

Officers received a 911 call about the accident and arrested Lohan at the hospital for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, McCann said.
She was released from custody because she was admitted to the hospital, police said.

McCann declined to comment on Lohan's blood-alcohol level. He said the case will be presented to the District Attorney's Office where the actress could face more charges, including felonies. Her tentative arraignment date is Aug. 24.

The crash was Lohan's third accident in about two years. In October 2005, Lohan and a passenger received minor injuries when her convertible hit a van in West Hollywood.

Authorities said the van driver, who also received minor injuries, was at fault.

Two hours after she left Les Deux, cops responded to a 911 call reporting a one car hit and run and Foothill and Sunset Blvds in Beverly Hills. Cops say Lindsay was driving her Mercedes and lost control and went up on on a curb.

Cops say they arrested her at Century City Hospital where she had been taken by friends after the accident. They're waiting for results of blood tests to determine just what substances she had in her system. One thing the cops do know... more charges could be filed in this case.

Poor Linds. She's in a heap of trouble. Fleeing the scene of an accident, coke allegedly found in her car and a possible DUI- and she's under 21 to boot.

Up until now, statements by the LA County Sheriff’s department have indicated that Paris won’t receive any leniency in her jail time, as was widely expected at first given Michelle Rodriguez’s less than four hour stay for a 60 day sentence in the same facility. Rodriguez was jailed last year, and after the Paris’ sentence was announced officials said that the prison is no longer crowded and she could be expected to serve most of the time, with up to 6 days off for good behavior.

Now the LA county jail is suddenly overcrowded again, and little vulnerable Paris could be out in hours or days. They gave one of those official-sounding poilce statements that makes it seem as if it’s this calculated decision, but to me it looks like they’re changing their tune and have decided to go easy on her.

The source is the same sheriff’s representative that said the prison had plenty of room and she would serve most of her sentence in an earlier statement. I’m a bit dissapointed, but not surprised, by this:

Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said Hilton’s sentence could be cut nearly in half by state law allowing for credit for time served for good behavior. In addition, he said, overcrowding in the jail system could further reduce the time she spends in custody.

Overcrowding has been a major issue in the L.A. County jail system, with some inmates — even violent ones — serving as little as 10% of their sentences. (If that standard was applied to Hilton, she would serve less than a week in jail.)

Actress Michelle Rodriguez, who starred on “Lost,” was sentenced to 60 days in jail for a probation violation last year but ended up serving less than a day in jail.

“She will be treated like any other inmate who’s classified as a low-level security risk,” Whitmore said. “There are a series of issues that will come into play here, including her criminal history, the nature of the offense and the population of the facility.”

Using those and other factors “the decision will be made as she is booked into the jail,” Whitmore said. “We do this with every single inmate.”

It’s suspicious that things could change so quickly in a week. Paris and her family are trying to pull a personal favor with Governor Schwarzenegger and have asked for a pardon. They’ve donated nearly 60k to his campaign over the years. Maybe Arnie put a call in to the LA sheriff’s department and asked them to come up with a reason why Paris won’t be subjected to L.A. county jail for much more than a day or two.

With all this hoopla over Paris, I’m wondering what’s going on with her frenemy Nicole Richie’s case. Richie was busted driving the wrong way on the freeway in December, 2006. She had an earlier conviction of DUI in 2002, in which she received three year’s probation after blowing a .12 and admitting to officers to drinking vodka. In December, Richie told cops she had pot and a vicodin that day, but she passed the breathalyzer.

If convicted of the recent DUI, her second, she faces a mandatory 5 days in jail under California law. The last I heard, her lawyers entered a not guilty plea on her behalf and there was a pretrial hearing scheduled April 2nd. If she gets time too, that will indeed be sweet justice.
