Annnd SPLIT!

you knew it was coming....she wasn't going to get dick when he dies anyway, time to move along. from digital spy:
Hugh Hefner's relationship with Playboy model Holly Madison is over.
Madison told a TMZ cameraman that she does not have any "pull anymore" at the Playboy Mansion, explaining: "Hef and I aren't together."
However, she will continue to appear in the sixth season of E! reality show The Girls Of The Playboy Mansion with Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt.
"We're having fun," she said. "It's going to be even better. We love season five, but I think every season gets better."
Hefner recently denied the split, telling reporters: "It's all rumours without question."
In September, he told Us magazine: "[Madison] is still my girlfriend. Now will that last? I don't think anything lasts forever.
"I love her very much, but you know, she wants very much to get married and have children. That isn't very much in the cards for me. So there has to be a certain reality there."
I don't know how I feel about this :\
Edina and Patsy are ready to take on L.A.Fox is developing a redo of Jennifer Saunders' enduring Britcom "Absolutely Fabulous," to be exec produced by Mitch Hurwitz, Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum for Sony Pictures TV, Tantamount and BBC Worldwide America.Christine Zander ("Saturday Night Live") is set to write the script and will exec produce along with the BBC's Ian Moffet and original series creator Saunders.
Fox has given Sony a script order with hefty penalty attached. The latest attempt at a U.S. rendition of "Ab Fab" will be transplanted to L.A. but retain the basic template of the original, revolving around the friendship of two boozy, over-40 best friends who are desperate to stay hip and youthful and who carry on under the disapproving eye of Edina's teenage daughter, Saffy.
More than a decade ago, Roseanne Barr worked on developing a U.S. version of the show with Carrie Fisher for ABC. CBS' 1995-98 Cybill Shepherd comedy "Cybill" had an "Ab Fab" flavor to it. Another short-lived 1995 sitcom, CBS' "High Society," starring Jean Smart and Mary McDonnell, was a thinly veiled imitation.Original series starred Saunders and Joanna Lumley.
It was a big hit in Britain and successful import for Comedy Central. In the U.K., "Ab Fab" ran as a regular series from 1992-95, with a two-part finale airing in 1996. Saunders and Lumley reunited for further adventures with fresh segs produced in 2001 and 2003.

She's just better than the rest of us!

from digital spy:
Angelina Jolie has revealed how she got her figure back after giving birth to twins.
The actress and husband Brad Pitt welcomed Knox and Vivienne into the world in July, but Jolie wasted no time in losing her baby weight.
Speaking at the New York premiere of Changeling, the 33-year-old remarked that she shed the pounds simply by being a mum.
"[Running] around with all the kids, and breastfeeding, which I think is part of your body's natural way of losing weight," she said.
Blind Items!!!
I'm running a few here togetherI think you'll be pleased with this one! From Holy Moly!
I always get asked the same two questions - well actually one question, but just about two different extremely famous movie stars.
My answer is always that I'm the wrong person to ask (based on the fact that I have never met the fellows and will always err on the side of the best story). Your best bet is to track down a lovely man called Marcus who is a young, blond, South African model...
Next week we'll talk about the hairdresser. And the mobile phone pictures... and how much these pictures would cost (i.e. a fucking shitload).

Britney News...
Now that Britney Spears has seemingly been free of drugs and scuzzy males for a little while, her parents are hoping to make the rebirth stick by banning her from having sex for the next six months. Spears (left, in another life) has never been romantically linked to a decent man in her adult life, and that might have something to do with her parents' crap treatment of her as a fleshy commodity when she was still a kid, so one could imagine their happiest daydream lately is a celibate, childlike Britney in the body of a grown woman.
A friend tells Now, “Jamie and Lynne feel she’s so close to cracking the big time again that they don’t want anything to get in her way.
“They’re desperate to ensure that it won’t happen again. Their worst nightmare is that she gets involved with someone else who’s just trying to use her for her money or to further their own career.”
[Entertainmentwise via OhNoTheyDidn't]
In other Spears news, Britney's sister, Jamie Lynn, 17, reportedly just broke up with the father of her four-month-old daughter.
*and here's the Jamie Lynn story......wasn't there something recently about her moving to L.A. to be closer to her sister?*

It has been a turbulent time for Jamie Lynn Spears. Less than four months after the birth of their daughter, Maddie, Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge are calling it quits, reports Life & Style Weekly. "Romantically, there is nothing left between them," says a Spears family insider. "Jamie Lynn hoped that having Maddie would settle Casey down, but the cheating scandal finally hit home."
As previously reported by the weekly entertainment magazine complete with pictures of a woman named, Kelli Dawson and she claimed she had a fling with Casey while Jamie Lynn was pregnant. Casey said that is wrong and he has denied he's cheated, the magazine reports.
And though Casey's pals tell Jamie Lynn, 17, that he does love her, they say his feelings are "not enough for him to commit to being a husband," adds the insider. Will they patch things up and ever make it to the altar?
The magazine claims that Casey, 19, is no longer living in the couple's Liberty, Miss., home. "He's welcome to see Maddie whenever he wants, but that's it," says the insider. "Her family isn't unhappy about it. Everybody on Jamie Lynn's side is tired of making excuses. They had to do it for years with Kevin [Federline, Britney's ex]!"
*Jamie Lynn is still a dumbass, even if the little fucktrophy isn't Casey's*

The Rachel Zoe Project
Somehow watching it, I got the sense that this is the kind of person that women in ancient Rome used for styling. Women who were of the elite, the upper crust that could only be imagined and envied by everyone else. At least, Rachel looks like she may have been around that long. Cheap shot, I know.
Anyhow, the first thing that strikes me watching this program is that the woman does not SHUT UP. Even with her own husband, her mouth just goes and goes and no one can get a word in. What is especially annoying are the phrases she uses, "It's like..." "It's like I was thinking...." and it all revolves around Rachel. I almost wonder how she is with clients, if she's so self indulgent with them.
The other thing that strikes the viewer right in the face is her obsession with '70's vintage couture. Yuck. Maybe there is something waaay deep in the bottoms of the leftovers that might be interesting but the 70's were bad enough the first time around.....
Yes, it's impressive all the people she knows, all the people she styles, all the designers she hangs out with. But somehow it is all so boring. I actually appreciate my my boring desk job and my terrible plain fashion. I would mind doing AP or AR for her but the rest just seems so mundane.
Maybe as I've gotten older I've become immune to such glitter and eyeliner. I don't know. I can see only watching a few episodes before writing it off as yet one more lame reality attempt at trying to capture someone's attention. I'm not sure if they are trying to convince people that they might be able to aspire to her achievements if they went to community college as a fashion merchandising major....or if they should just throw the money out of a window and hope for the best. I can't quite list it as a guilty pleasure and yet there is an odd fascination. I suppose I shall watch until I get bored with it. I'm sure it wont' take long.
What would be entertaining would be for Tyra and Rachel to co-host a show together.....That could be interesting if done in a cage match style! I'd be hooked! Rachel, throwing Oscar De La Renta bracelets to fend off Tyra's lizard rage hair attacks!

WTF Is Victoria Beckham wearing?
Valkyrie Doomed?
Tom Cruise's Hitler Flick: 'No Audience'
The first opinions are in on Tom Cruise’s Christmas Day release about the failed assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler.
The movie in question is "Valkyrie," a project now exceeding $100 million and maybe the cause of the end of this chapter in the life of United Artists.
Not since UA gave birth to "Heaven’s Gate" in 1980 and capsized as a result has a studio’s future been so tied to one title.
It doesn’t help that since UA went into business with Cruise and Paula Wagner, the longtime business partners broke up and Wagner left. To make matters worse, Merrill Lynch, which organized the $500 million credit line for Cruise/Wagner, has now also vanished. They were bought by Bank of America two weeks ago.
Luckily, Merrill didn’t hand the full amount over so fast.
Now, several industry insiders have been to a couple of screenings of "Valkyrie." What do they say? They agree that it’s a well-made movie, and even an absorbing thriller. But what matters more is that they’re telling me "it’s not an Oscar movie, there’s nothing Oscar about it."
Even awards aren’t the total problem, however. "You sit there and say, 'Who am I selling this movie to? Who’s the audience? And the answer is, No one.'"
Indeed, the marketing problems for "Valkyrie" are huge. Dec. 26 is already pretty crowded with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in "Revolutionary Road," the wide release of Ron Howard’s "Frost/Nixon" and John Cusack in the highly anticipated "Shanghai". That would cover the intellectual upscale audience.
That leaves family drama — Forest Whitaker in "Hurricane Season," Jennifer Aniston in "Marley and Me" — plus Adam Sandler in "Bedtime Stories."
And it’s not like there won’t be big box office stars in theaters that week. Brad Pitt, Will Smith and Jim Carrey all have releases out one week earlier.
That, compounded with the obvious: watching Hitler kill off his would-be assassins isn’t exactly holiday fare. The movie ends with the most evil person who ever lived murdering the "good guys." There’s no happy ending, that’s for sure.
"You just don’t know which set of bad Germans to root for," one source told me. "There are no heroes, that’s for sure."

I like them together!

They are cute! The age difference doesn't bother, me, look at Demi & Ashton...for whatever reason, they are still together. Granted, Scarlett can't sing to save her life, but I like Scarlett and Ryan together, they just seem to fit. I hope their marriage lasts! Congrats, you two! From E!Online:
Sorry guys and gals, Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are officially off the market.
Ryan, 31, and Scarlett, 23, quietly tied the knot on Saturday in an intimate ceremony outside Vancouver in the groom's native Canada, E! News has confirmed. This is the first marriage for both.
The newlyweds began dating in February 2007 and announced their engagement just four months ago.

Womanizer - Britney's new single
Old Blue Eyes is gone

A true Hollywood great, a true actor, a great man, Paul Newman, has died. From yahoonews.com:
Legendary actor Paul Newman dies at age 83
Saturday September 27 9:16 AM ET
Paul Newman, the Academy-Award winning superstar who personified cool as an activist, race car driver, popcorn impresario and the anti-hero of such films as "Hud," "Cool Hand Luke" and "The Color of Money," has died. He was 83.
Newman died Friday after a long battle with cancer at his farmhouse near Westport, publicist Jeff Sanderson said. He was surrounded by his family and close friends.
In May, Newman he had dropped plans to direct a fall production of "Of Mice and Men," citing unspecified health issues.
Newman had a soft spot for underdogs in real life, giving tens of millions to charities through his food company and setting up camps for severely ill children. Passionately opposed to the Vietnam War, and in favor of civil rights, he was so famously liberal that he ended up on President Nixon's "enemies list," one of the actor's proudest achievements, he liked to say.
A screen legend by his mid-40s, he waited a long time for his first competitive Oscar, winning in 1987 for "The Color of Money," a reprise of the role of pool shark "Fast" Eddie Felson, whom Newman portrayed in the 1961 film "The Hustler."
He and Joanne Woodward bought an 18th century farmhouse in Westport, where they raised their three daughters, Elinor "Nell," Melissa and Clea.
Newman had two daughters, Susan and Stephanie, and a son, Scott, from a previous marriage to Jacqueline Witte.
Scott died in 1978 of an accidental overdose of alcohol and Valium. After his only son's death, Newman established the Scott Newman Foundation to finance the production of anti-drug films for children.
*He was a very bright star in the world of the silver screen and shall be greatly missed, there shall never be another like him.*

And in Other News....
From INO:
People Magazine has the issue of the year with Clay Aiken and his newborn son on the front cover with the big headline, "Yes, I'm Gay!". I know it's hard for so many to come "out of the closet", so I wish Clay only the best in his career and with his new little family. His son Parker was born August 8th in North Carolina to Clay's close friend, Jayme.
*well, DUH*
and from IDLYITW:
Samantha Ronson was a call in guest to Loveline the other night where she talked about the Travis Barker and DJ AM plane crash. Blah, blah, blah, nobody cares, blah, then she handed the phone to Lindsay Lohan who also blah blah then Stryker asks Lindsay point blank how she and Samantha have been dating. Lindsay says, ""A very long time." This is only interesting because despite overwhelming evidence, Lindsay has never acknowledged that she is actually in a relationship with Ronson.
