There was a time when she actually dated guys in whom she was genuinely interested. One of these guys was a celebrity. Like other Good Girls before her, she fell hard for him, and had a physical relationship with him. But he was just using her. She was crushed when she figured that out. Even worse, she was pregnant.

Hey Syclers, I'm back!  Have you ever felt so fed up with a job, relationship, etc. that you were willing to walk away just to keep you sanity and health together?

Let's start with a blind item:

[BlindGossip] They have been a couple for several years and are parents together, so it was just a matter of time before they took that extra step and got married. They announced their engagement earlier this year and have been hinting that the wedding will be later this year. No. The wedding is actually next weekend. It won’t be one of those huge 500-person affairs. Just family and close friends, including some of his friends who just happen to be big celebrities. His ex-wife is definitely not invited. The location is the same country where he proposed to her. And yes, their child/ren will be in the wedding party. Congratulations!

UPDATE!

They are changing the date! The wedding is being moved to early summer (June/July). We’ll let you know as it gets closer.

Johnny Depp had his 45th birthday yesterday, but he didn't take a day off to celebrate. Instead, he was back on the set of Public Enemies in Chicago with a gun under his arm and a glare on his face. We're enjoying all the glimpses of cleaned-up Johnny while they last, since he might get back to looking creepy playing a vampire in his rumored next movie with Tim Burton, an adaptation of Dark Shadows.

When Johnny Depp revealed in past interviews time after time that has a young boy he longed to play the character of Barnabas Collins from the vampiric soap opera, “Dark Shadows,” I wonder if he ever thought that one day he’d actually get his wish?

Sources close to Variety have reported that Depp and Graham King’s GK Films have finally closed a deal to develop a feature based on the cult series.

A rights deal just closed with the estate of Dan Curtis, the producer/director who created the soap that aired weekdays on ABC, from 1966 to 1971. Depp and King will produce with David Kennedy, who ran Dan Curtis Prods. until Curtis died last year of a brain tumor. Infinitum-Nihil’s Christi Dembrowski served as the point person on the deal.

“Dark Shadows” was a campy soap that featured all things Halloween - monsters, a few witches here and there, zombies, a pack of werewolves and yes - vampires, and even though it hasn’t seen the light of TV by anything worthy in years (although the Sci-Fi Channel did run the original series back in the late 1990’s), it continues to have - what else? - a cult following, including a Dark Shadows Festival (held annually since 1983), which is a two day event scheduled to take place this year at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, New York on August 17 and 18.

The news that Depp has signed on to create a new - and much more current - “Dark Shadows” is probably welcome news to some, but there are those who will always prefer the original. No news yet on when we can expect to see the development come full term, but Depp fans can look forward to seeing him in “Sweeney Todd” next year.
