Marie Antoinette, anyone?

That bitch was hated too....for her superiority complex, for being a rich, spoiled socialite, for believing she was entitled simply because of who she was...and we all know how that turned out, don't we? Paris may as well say , "Let them eat cake."

off of MSNBC.com:

She cried throughout the hearing, dabbing her eyes, and her body shook constantly. Several times she turned to her parents, seated behind her in the courtroom, and mouthed, “I love you.”

TMZ.com reported that Hilton's family will file an appeal, maybe as soon as Friday afternoon.

Hilton was taken to a treatment center at the downtown Twin Towers jail for medical and psychiatric examination to determine which facility she will be held in, said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

“She’ll be there for at least a couple of days,” he said.

Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer was calm but apparently irked by Sheriff Lee Baca’s decision to release Hilton three days into her sentence due to an unspecified “medical condition.”

“I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions,” Sauer said. “At no time did I approve the defendant being released from custody to her home.”

shut up and do the time, Pari$ite. You blew off probation for a DUI, TWICE. You can't always have your way and you need to understand that there are consequences for bad decisions. Sorry that your parents couldn't teach you that. Now you learn the hard way. I hope this makes you a better person, one who makes responsible decisions.

This can actually be such a good thing for Pari$...she'll actually be getting clean and sober and maybe, MAYBE for the first time in her life she'll take a good hard look at herself through clean eyes and make a responsible evaluation of herself, grow up and realize that these 'friends' of hers are just clingers-on, just hang around because of her name, her $$ and what she can give them. Maybe she will find herself more centered and can at last let go of being a media whore and ask herself why she really needs all the attention. maybe.

Amazingly, even her professional ass kisser, Perez Hilton, has turned against her. She goes to jail, he loses a paycheck and then he gets nasty on her. Wow.

ALL celebrities should have to face punishment for breaking the law. Sizemore, Michelle Rodriguez, Mel Gibson.....all of them should face the consequences of their actions.

Lohan, YOU'RE NEXT. DUI, underage drinking, fleeing the scene of an accident....cocaine possession.....yeah. You're next. Jail would be the best rehab of all for her.

off of AP:

LYNWOOD, Calif. (AP) -- Paris Hilton has reported to a Los Angeles County jail to begin a three-week stay for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

The 26-year-old heiress was booked late Sunday into the Century Regional Detention Facility in an industrial area about five miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles, according to the sheriff's inmate locator Web site.

Though a judge sentenced her to 45 days behind bars, Hilton was expected to serve only 23 days because of a state law that requires shorter sentences for good behavior.

Earlier Sunday, Hilton attended the MTV Movie Awards, where she briefly spoke to reporters about her sentence.

"I am trying to be strong right now," Hilton said. "I'm really scared but I'm ready to face my sentence."

The 13-year-old jail has been an all-female facility since March 2006. The two-story concrete building sits in an industrial neighborhood, beside train tracks and beneath a bustling freeway.
Hilton will be housed in the facility's "special needs" unit.

Officers arrested Hilton in Hollywood on Sept. 7. In January, she pleaded no contest to the reckless-driving charge and was sentenced to 36 months' probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.

She was pulled over by California Highway Patrol on Jan. 15. Officers informed Hilton she was driving on a suspended license and she signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. She then was pulled over by sheriff's deputies on Feb. 27, at which time she was charged with violating her probation.
