Brit Still Singing, K-Fed Still Mooching

"Gimme More" isn't just Britney Spears' new battle cry. It's also Kevin Federline's.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline's attorney, requested in a legal declaration filed this week that Spears pony up an additional $50,000 to pay for her former husband's legal expenses stemming from their recent divorce.

In the court documents, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Kaplan says Spears is "clearly the 'monied party' " of the twosome and should therefore aid in paying off Federline's hefty litigation fees.

Kaplan further argued in his filing that a onetime payment of $50,000—for Spears, anyway—would amount to nothing more than pocket change, stating that her average monthly income is a whopping $737,868.

While Kaplan opted not to divulge his own client's monthly salary, he did claim that Federline, after shelling out for various unspecified expenses, has "no net income" whatsoever. Adding insult to financial injury, his monthly spousal-support payments of $20,000 from Spears will end their run in November.

Spears first filed for divorce from Federline in November 2006, two years and one month after tying the knot. The divorce was finalized in July, and the couple is now ramping up their legal battle on the custody front, fighting for guardianship of kids Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Quick Bits!

Off of gossip rocks:

Kate Hudson has been barred from getting in touch with ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson as he recovers from his recent suicide attempt. The New York Daily News says the actress's attempts to get in touch with the troubled star have been rebuffed by Wilson's entourage on the grounds that they "don't think Kate is good for him"

"Kate has been trying to get in touch with Owen and is distraught that the family doesn't want her anywhere near him," the Daily News sites a source as saying. "She is very frustrated."

Hudson and Wilson began a romance after shooting the hit comedy You, Me and Dupree but the relationship failed despite their best efforts, including a visit by Wilson to Australia while Hudson shot Fool's Gold in Australia last year. Wilson was hospitalised in Los Angeles last week after a suicide attempt that was incorrectly attributed to a drug overdose.

Samuel L. Jackson gave paparazzi hanging around Wilson's hospital a verbal lashing while visiting the recovering Wedding Crashers star. "I came here to visit Owen Wilson, get the **** away from me, alright," he said to waiting celebrity photograhers. When one paparazzo apparently apologised, Jackson fired up again. "Yeah, everybody's sorry, why the **** are you guys here?" he said. When the cameramen said they were "there for the story", Jackson sarcastically asked "what story is that?"

Maybe we were a little quick to accuse Jennifer Aniston of crashing Courteney Cox's Hawaiian family vacation. To hear Star magazine tell it, she bought their love fair and square, just like Richard Gere bought Julia Roberts. "Jennifer pays for everything all the time," a source tells Star. "If she plans a vacation, you know she's footing the bill for her entire entourage."

The list of perks when you join Explore With Aniston™ includes booze, air, a car service, accommodations, food, booze, activities, spa treatments, booze and pretty outfits. "She's like the sugar daddy everyone wishes they had, except she's a woman!" a very excited source says.

"You could call her sugar mama!" Well, maybe you could if she had babies. This is around the spot where this story started to sound like Friends fan-fiction, but there are actually real women who've taken these outrageously decadent J-cations. The guest list includes actress Andrea Bendwald (Madison's mom, Stick It), producer Kristin Hahn (The Departed and... that's pretty much it) and her yoga instructor.

But it's exactly this suddenly humming social life that keeps Jen from finding a replacement Prince Charming. "Her friends really enjoy themselves, but I bet they're afraid that she'll find a serious boyfriend," the insider speculates, alleging they sabatoge her dates. If that's true, then they must have been shaking in their Louboutins during Jen's dinner with Bradley Cooper. But the all-expenses-paid pack had nothing to fear from Brad 2, her co-star in the upcoming He's Just Not That Into You movie. While the two had dinner at her L.A. home, her rep said it was certainly not a party for two. "It was not a romantic dinner and they were not alone," her rep said. After Bradley reads about Jen's incentive package, he might want to reevaluate that.

Britney Spears has hit back at actress Keira Knightley for slamming her infamous flashing underwear incident.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star branded Spears a "slut" after she was photographed flashing her underwear earlier this year (07).

But the singer laughed off the comments, adding, "Who's Keira Knightley? I guess she must need the publicity".

Hmmmm!

off of Crazy Days & Nights:

This athlete's divorce could be very messy because he was tailed by two private detectives for much of the past year. Seems there is video and photos of our athlete with a bevy of different women in many compromising positions and situations. The detectives also managed to track down an unknown credit card used entirely for his liaisons which includes charges from strip clubs, escort services and large cash withdrawals.

'It's the most fun I've ever had and also the biggest pain in the ass I've ever experienced,' he said. 'It makes me much more efficient because when I work I really have to focus, I know I've less time to get things done. Actually I'm quite pleased by it,' he added. The couple arrived in Italy last week for the Venice Film Festival, where Brad is promoting his latest film 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford', which follows the last 12 months of the infamous outlaw. 'Wilson discharged from hospital'

Hollywood actor Owen Wilson has been discharged from hospital a week after an apparent suicide attempt at his home in Los Angeles, according to reports. People magazine reports that the actor is now at home and is being supervised around the clock. A source close to the Starsky and Hutch star told the magazine: "Owen is in bad mental shape but said he is thankful to be alive."He knows he came close to ending his life, and he is happy that he was saved from himself. He is basically at home with people watching him 24/7," the source added. TomKat 'extortion' man to plead guilty

A man charged with attempting to extort over $1 million (£0.5 million) from Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes is expected to plead guilty later today. David Hans Schmidt, 47, could face up to two years in federal prison and a $250,000 (£124,000) fine after he agreed the single-count guilty plea, the Associated Press news agency reports. He is expected to plead guilty to sending communications for purposes of extortion. Mr Schmidt allegedly demanded money from the A-list pair in return for illegally obtaining thousands of images of their wedding in collaboration with 33-year-old data recovery expert Marc Lewis Gittleman. The criminal complaint claimed the latter stole the images from the damaged hard drive of the wedding's official photographer, before assisting the services of Mr Schmidt to help him gain money for them. The press have dubbed Mr Schmidt the 'Sultan of Sleaze' for his previous attempts at procuring money from celebrities.

It's over!

Why do people think that if you meet someone on the set, it's real and has a good chance of working out?

off of TMZ:

The romance is over between "Brokeback Mountain" stars Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger. The blonde bohemians, who live in Brooklyn and have a 23-month-old daughter named Mathilda, "quietly and amicably split a few weeks ago," according to Us. A source said, "The relationship had been rocky recently. They tried very hard to make it work but finally decided to separate. They just grew apart. ... They have a beautiful daughter and they are both committed to being great parents."Previously, Ledger had been linked to Aussie hottie (and much older woman) Naomi Watts.

A new tell-all about Anna Nicole Smith from former MSNBC journalist Rita Cosby about alleges that Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead were secret gay lovers.

The book, "Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death" describes an alleged brief tryst between Stern and Birkhead, reports the Daily News. Jackie Hatten, described as a friend of Anna Nicole's, claims she found Stern and Birkhead witht heir shirts off and pants around their ankles, engaged in oral sex.

The book also accuses the feuding baby daddies of cutting a secret deal between them in which Birkhead would get custody of Dannielynn in return for Stern being named executor of Anna Nicoles estate.

Both Birkhead and Stern deny all of Cosby's accusations. Birkhead said that he was disgusted by Cosby's claims that he and Stern were gay lovers. "If she printed that then she is really getting sued," he said.

Stern's lawyer Lin Wood called the book "false and defamatory."
