Snoop Dogg has been banned from a free festival in the Netherlands, it was confirmed this afternoon. BBC News reports that police barred the rapper from appearing at Parkpop in The Hague because it wanted an "open and friendly character".

British journo Piers Morgan will start his takeover of Larry King's CNN show in October, sources tell Page Six. The former newspaper editor has a deal to host an hourlong interview program which will start in the fall four days a week as CNN phases King out.
