No, No, No, No!!!!

Just stop! Indiana Jones and the suckass kingdom of domed crystal alien bullshit was a feast of shit baked up and forced down my throat. STOP NOW, don't make anymore!!! From BBC Newsbeat:

Harrison Ford says an idea for the storyline for the fifth Indiana Jones film has been agreed.

The Hollywood actor says he, director Steven Spielberg and writer George Lucas have come up with a rough outline for the follow-up to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

He said: "Steven [Spielberg] and George [Lucas] and I are sort of agreed on a germ of an idea and we're seeing what comes of it."

Harrison Ford, 67, says despite coming up with an idea for the movie, people won't see the finished product for some time.

"The process works like this," he said. "We come to some basic agreement and then George goes away for a long time and works on it.

"Then Steven and I get it in some form, some embryonic form.

"Then if we like it we start working with George on it and at some point down the line it's ready and we do it."

*For George Lucas, Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg. Srsly.*

Fear Not!

I have not abandoned you, my dear readers! Had a lot on my plate this week with a funeral and being horribly sick. But I am here now and I give you this blind item as an offering, from holy moly!

which footballer (probably the most famous one in the world) immediately legged it from a recent party in the States after being offered a line of cocaine, because he thought it was a trap by the papers?

*Becks!*

The Forewarned iPhone Bricking Has Begun

Earlier this week Apple warned its customers that a update was going to render some modified handsets "permanently inoperable".

How sweet. Well, it was true. iPhones are bricked. In fact, our sister-site Gizmodo has amended their review of the iPhone and are now recommending that you do not buy it due to the loss of cool third-party applications that will now no longer work on the updated iPhone.

(For the record, we always recommended that you not succumb to iPhone hype, and we even made the editor who loves Apple write a story about it. We're so mean.)

From BBC News (emphasis ours):

That warning has now proved correct as many owners are reporting their phones no longer work following installation of the update.

Apple requires iPhone owners to take out a lengthy contract with AT&T in the United States but there are a number of programs on the net that unlock the device for use with other networks.
Some owners are reporting on technology blogs and Apple's own forums that the update is deleting contacts information, as well as photos and music, on iPhones that have not been modified in any way.
Awesome. Good job, Apple.
Here's what one bricked iPhone user has to say:

Walked (well, more like ran) over to the nearest AT&T store. I told them my iPhone stopped working and that iTunes told me I needed a new SIM card (both true). The guy said no problem, and handed me a new SIM. He told me to install it, connect to iTunes, and activate the SIM with my existing account. Just got back, popped in the SIM, and no luck--getting the same errors.Tell us all your iPhone bricking stories at tips [at] consumerist [dot] com.

Somehow....

I just figured that James Brown didn't really have anything...and this last woman he was with isn't going to get jack form the courts....she'd be lucky to get any support for her child, if it is proven that the child is James Brown's.....I think she should let the rest of the vultures fight over the few scraps he left and walk away. This could be the best thing that ever happened to her. She was a backup singer once and she could do it again. She should have never depended on someone else to take care of her. Probate suckz.

How long do you think it will be before this crap shows up on Ebay?

Off of TMZ.com:

TMZ has obtained a copy of James Brown's will, and it reads like the will of a guy who didn't have much -- other than knickknacks. The will, which begins by noting that Brown is also known as "The Godfather of Soul," leaves his six children "furniture, appliances, furnishings, pictures, silverware, china, glass, books, jewelry, wearing apparel, boats, automobiles, and other vehicles..."

The document, signed in 2000, does not mention how much cold hard cash the estate is worth.Brown did not include his partner, Tomi Rae Hynie or their 5-year-old child. Hynie is expected to contest the will and could end up inheriting 1/3 of the estate.
