I have heard from some camps that this was a careful orchestration by Democrats to get votes in their favor, since elections are in a few weeks and this just fuels that fire. Apparently, because of an easy IM glitch, the former page accusing Mark Foley of harrassing him while underage was actually 18 years old when it happened. He is now 21.
See, and people want to think that teens are so sweet and innocent. Look at almost any account of a teen on myspace.com and you'll see that most teens are, in fact, not that innocent.
My question is, who put this former page up to accusing Foley? Who stands to gain from this?
