I know a lot of ppl are STILL trying to figure out how MJ did the 45 degree lean. He did NOT invent the move....it's an old Vaudeville trick/street trick, you can see it demonstrated when the Tin Man sings in the Wizard of Oz. I couldn't find a clip of that, but I can show you a clip of someone else doing it:
The trick? It's the heels in the shoes, like elevator shoes! The supported angle allows the illusion of leaning over further than one really is. No wires, heels! Now you know.
