Actor Johnny Depp is set to marry longtime love Vanessa Paradis on June 14. The pair who have been together for 10 years and have two children, eight-year-old Lily-Rose and six-year-old Jack have always insisted they don’t feel the need to make their relationship official, but French singer Vanessa is now keen to walk down the aisle.
A source close to the couple said: “Vanessa recently told Johnny that she would love to have a wedding. Johnny loves Vanessa very much, and he said if that’s what would make her happy, then he’d marry her.”
The summer wedding will be a low-key family affair. The couple’s children “are really excited about it,” the insider tells Life and Style magazine. “Actually the whole family is excited.
“They wanted to make it convenient for Johnny’s family in Florida,” so the wedding will likely take place in Georgia’s Tybee Island, according to the source. “They’re going to send out invitations in a few weeks.”
