The ex-Libertines singer is reportedly planning on dedicating his shows at Reading and Leeds Festivals to the late singer.Maybe his recent stint in jail gave him time to think and reflect? Pete got out of the clink last month after serving only two months of a six-month sentence for cocaine possession. According to reports in the Daily Star On Sunday,Pete wants to do something special to mark the death of his talented pal.

“Pete was really good mates with Amy and he’s still really cut up about her death. He hopes to help get rid of his demons by dedicating his festival gigs to her memory. He loved her music and hopes he can do it justice,”said a source.

“I'm struggling with f***ing everything because I'm so bewildered about what happened to Amy. I was in bed when I heard the news of her death. Someone had to wake me up to tell me. I couldn't take it in and still can't. Coming to terms with what has happened is almost impossible. It's hard to think she's not with us anymore.”

Hopefully this will be the wake up call Pete needs to finally get clean and sober.

The BBC is reporting that singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead.  Spin's guess would be overdose.  Is this surprising? No.  Sad? Very. Chalk up another member of the 27 Club.

Singer Amy Winehouse, 27, has been found dead at her home, the Press Association has reported.

Last month, the north Londoner pulled out of her European tour after she was jeered at her comeback gig in Serbia for appearing too drunk to perform.

For 90 minutes, she mumbled through parts of songs and at times left the stage - leaving her band to fill in.

The troubled singer had a long battle with drink and drugs which overshadowed her musical career in recent years.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed that a 27-year-old woman had died in Camden and that the cause of death was as yet unexplained.

London Ambulance Service had been called to the flat at 1554 BST and sent two ambulances but the woman died, it said.

Amy Winehouse has sparked rumours that she is pregnant.

According to OK!, the singer was seen buying 12 pregnancy tests at her local shop.

A source said: "Amy insisted her minders took her to the supermarket. She's desperate to have a baby and talks of nothing else.

"She is adamant that Blake [Fielder-Civil] must be the father. She bought a dozen pregnancy kits, keeping her fingers crossed the whole time.

"Amy demanded everyone around her cross their fingers too."

Recent rumours have suggested that Winehouse's ex-husband Fielder-Civil has been dating both her and model Sophie Schandorff.

Amy Winehouse is growing bored of her current party-free lifestyle, it has been claimed.

The troubled star reportedly made the confession at a barbecue that she organised for friends at her home in North London over the weekend.

Winehouse moved from Camden to Barnet earlier this year after allegedly deciding that her old residence held too many bad memories.

Discussing the singer's gathering, a source told the Daily Star: "It was great fun, although Amy admitted that she really misses the crazy Camden party scene since she's moved to Barnet."

On Winehouse's behaviour, the insider said: "Amy took advantage of the glorious weather and was in full chef mode, cooking up a storm in her garden in Barnet.

"However, in true Amy style all the meat was marinated in booze. The night was like a bizarre version of TV's Come Dine With Me. Everyone expected Amy's amateur cooking to be a disaster."

The 24-year-old recently vowed to stay single for the foreseeable future following her divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil.

The troubled singer arrived back in the UK on Monday following rumours that she had outstayed her welcome in the Caribbean due to her drunken behavior.

However, a source told the Evening Standard: "The manager of the hotel she was staying at was sad to see her go, and has said he would love to have her come back to stay again. Many of the staff are also sad she has left.

"Amy certainly can be a wild child but she's nothing compared to some Brits who holiday in St Lucia. Amy always made a point to talk to people who worked at the hotel, and even looked after their kids when they were working."

Winehouse was granted a divorce from her husband Blake Fielder-Civil yesterday.

Her representative later said that the star would concentrate on completing her third album in the months ahead.

The 25-year-old singer met with lawyers yesterday to discuss a divorce, according to The Sun.

Winehouse was taken to hospital at the weekend following what was claimed to be a drink and drugs related seizure brought on by a telephone row with her husband. She has since checked herself into a clinic for treatment and is said to have asked her father to arrange the legal meeting.

Fielder-Civil is meanwhile in rehab as part of the terms of his early release from a 27-month jail sentence for attacking a pub landlord and perverting the course of justice. Rumours that the marriage had reached crisis point started circulating as soon as he entered the Surrey centre.

Last week, a friend said Winehouse had finally accepted that the couple did not have a future together and that a separation was the only way forward.

As SOHH previously reported, after being rushed to the hospital earlier this week following a fainting spell, which could have been caused by a massive overdose she suffered last year, Winehouse received a dire warning from her doctor to quit using drugs or eventually her addiction will cost the British soul singer her life.

Winehouse's battle with drugs and alcohol coupled with her massive weight loss, have doctors concerned as well.

Guards reportedly found the 35-year-old writhing in agony whilst being violently sick in a cell. They instantly set off alarms and activated emergency procedures to save his life. An investigation was launched, with prison officials finding he had taken a drug believed to be heroin, mixed with a toxic substance. A jail insider said: “This was a close call, but he might not be so lucky next time. If he carries on taking so many drugs, he’ll end up dead before long.” Blake and six other prisoners took the drug in the G Wing of the north London prison. Within moments they had all fallen ill, according to Britain’s News of The World newspaper. Blake has been repeatedly warned to quit drugs.

Amy Winehouse will be questioned next week by police probing an alleged £200,000 plot to fix her husband's assault trial.

She will be asked about accusations she knew of a plan to derail the case against Blake Fielder-Civil.

Yesterday the Mirror revealed the music video assistant was arrested on Thursday in front of tearful singer Amy, 24, after our tip off.

He was still in custody last night and was being questioned by detectives. Officers who smashed their way in to Amy's home in Camden, North London, said "significant" evidence had been found.

Items seized included mobile phone accounts, banking details and computer software.
Amy will be treated as a witness but police sources say she could face arrest "depending on what was discovered".

But the soul singer, who has battled drugs and depression, insisted: "Blake has told me he's done nothing wrong and I believe him. Someone has set him up but whatever happens I'll be there for him."

Fielder-Civil, 25, and pal Michael Brown, 39, had been due to stand trial on Monday charged with GBH on barman James King, 36. But the pair are alleged to have offered him £200,000 plus £10,000 costs to change his story and go to Spain until the case collapsed.

King was filmed allegedly agreeing not to testify in the trial at Snarebrook crown court. That hearing has now been postponed indefinitely.

Last night King, 36, handed himself to police in Derbyshire and was arrested. Brown has also contacted officers. The alleged conspiracy emerged after two men named Ant and Jay contacted the Mirror claiming they had CCTV footage of the attack on King.

They said they were organising a deal between the barman and the pair accused of giving him a brutal beating.
